This year, GRECO has introduced our latest eco-product solutions, featuring bioplastics, recyclable materials, energy conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable supply chains at Rubber and Plastics Exhibition.

 

TPU ISOTHANE ® now offers a versatile sustainable solution using bio-based and recycled materials to reduce carbon footprint and we also have recycled series in our portfolio include r-ABS, r-TPU, ETPU grades with a 20% to 100% share of PIR (post-industrial recycled) materials and LFRT series with PCR and PIR plastic materials.

 

We work with GRS certified partners to make our materials sustainable without compromising on quality.  All the flow of material and process are strictly audited according to Global Recycled Standard.  This ensures feedstock is systematically traceable by the mass balance approac

Our sustainable product portfolios include:

 

1.ISOTHANE BioTPU

Bio TPU resins are renewable-sourced materials (plant based, between 25~60%) offering outstanding flexibility and endurance.

Biomass Applications:

Bio TPU can be widely applied in various fields, including apparels, footwear, packaging materials, automotive interiors, and electronics.

 

2.ISOPAK ABS  – Sustainable Materials

PCR-ABS is compliant with REACH, RoHS and GRS standards.

Recycling Applications:
Recycled ABS can be used in household appliances, electronic appliances and automotive parts.  Proper recycling can reduce the demand for virgin materials and conserve natural resources.

 

3.ISOTHANE r-TPU

r-TPU resins are with a 20% to 100% share of PIR (post-industrial recycled) materials.

 

The Benefits of recycled TPUs

• Reduce Energy Consumption
• Reduce CO2 emission up from 50% to 80% compared to 100% virgin TPUs

Recycling Applications:
r-TPU can be used in various products such as footwear, sport apparels, packaging materials and phone cases..

 

4.ISOTHANE ETPU – High elasticity & Low density.

New expanded TPU material for excellent elasticity.

• Expanded beads can be provided with different size and color according to the requirements.

5.ISOPAK LFRT – Replacing the metals with plastics to reduce weight.

Great durability of impact and dimensional stability.

Recyclable LFRT composite materials incorporate bio-mass and other renewable materials. The application trends for these materials in the green supply chain are as follows

Recycling Applications:
Composite materials can be disassembled, separated, and recycled despite their complex structures. Thus, various products can be manufactured by utilizing recycled composite materials, including automotive components, hand tools, and sports equipment parts.

 

Biomass Applications:
Renewable composite materials with biomass components can reduce the demand for fossil fuels and can be applied in various industries, such as in automotive components. With biomass components, it is also light-weighting and highly strengthened that makes them a suitable metal replacement to reduce weight.
